Last week saw over 100 delegates converge on Imperial White City for the first UKSPA event of 2019

This was a return visit to Imperial, as four years ago, we met. This was an opportunity to see the enormous amount of progress underatken, the journey made and the plans for the future,

The two days saw key panel sessions included hot topics such as city led innovation, Incubation and the city, the changing environment for flexible space and Incubation and the city and much more and we thank all our speakers, more details of which will be covered in the next issue of our Breakthrough magazine.

The Panel sessions again proved highly engaging with thought provoking debates across the two days.

Last week’s conference was the perfect taster ahead of our national conference taking place at the University of Birmingham 2-3 April 2019.

The Conference will provide the perfect platform with close to 100 presentations over the two days with speakers including Sarah Main, Executive Director of the Campaign for Science and Engineering and still anticipated visit from the Science Minister Chris Skidmore MP delivering a keynote address.

We would like to extend our thanks to our hosts Eulian Roberts, Katrina Lowther and Graham Hewson for their hospitality and their input in creating and delivering such a lively two days.
