Begbroke Science Park Sponsors Innovation and Creativity Award

Begbroke Science Park (BSP) has announced that it will sponsor the Innovation & Creativity Award at the Cherwell Business Awards for a second year, and has once again joined the organising committee.

BSP’s Manager, Dr Caroline Livingstone commented “We are a big supporter of The Cherwell Business Awards. They are a fantastic showcase for the North Oxfordshire business community, recognising and celebrating the excellent business people and organisations we have here in the Cherwell District. Begbroke Science Park is proud to sponsor the Innovation & Creativity award for a second year. The Cherwell Business Awards continues to grow and establish a solid reputation within the North Oxfordshire business community.”

The Begbroke Science Park Innovation and Creativity Award is open to any organisation with an innovative product, service, business method, or creative process, launched within the last 3 years, which can show a measurable operational benefit.

The increasing popularity of the Awards has resulted in the sponsorship of an additional category for Apprenticeships in 2015, bringing the total of awards to ten, and ensuring there is an award for every company and business person to aim for.

Mike Hawkins, Commercial Director, Hawkins Group of Companies, winner of both the Staff Training & Development Award and Business Person of the Year Award in 2014 says:

“I can only say that if any company or business person is thinking of entering, I would urge them not to think about it, but to act on it! The Cherwell Business Awards provide a great way to celebrate diversity in business in Cherwell that are bringing jobs, opportunities and revenue to the area….long may it continue!”

Nominations and applications are now being accepted across all categories until 30 January 2015. Finalists will be announced at the end of March 2015, with the Gala Dinner and Awards taking place in May 2015.

The winning entry in each category will pick up a stylish trophy and certificate, and each of the three shortlisted finalists will also automatically be submitted to the prestigious Oxfordshire Business Awards to be held later in the year.

Applications and nominations can be made online from 20th October 2014 through to 30th January 2015.
